Autobiography

I fell, dove, or whatever you want to call it. It hit me, ripping the water’s fine surface. Ripples surged around the pool. I had no clue what I had got. Hopefully a high-score. But the judges weren’t feeling I had earned one. I had to go round just once more, the line that seemed to never end was trailing down the pool-side, towards the many thousands watching. My heart thumped hard in my chest. It was my turn, Again.

This time, I would go backwards. But my eye stung from the previous attempt. stumbling backwards, I plunged deep into the pool, my eye, searing with pain as I sank to the cavernous depths of the pool.

Well, it wasn’t too bad when I finally got a grip and scrambled towards the light, piercing the water’s surface. I don’t think that I could of come first at any point, but at least I felt that I could of at the time, if I hadn’t fallen.

My name is Luke Spencer and I was born on the 14th of October, 2002, on a Monday. I have done many things that are quite adventurous in my time, (including the story I have shared with you in this piece) so far, starting from scuba-diving in the Atlantic Ocean, to searching the bays for golden coins, ‘A Pirate’s Booty’. By the way, I was successful in both of these operations, in the sea I discovered many things; I even killed a huge crab with a mop, and on the bays I found one gold and one silver coin.

My first word is unknown, as I muttered something when I was small, but nobody really knows what. I was an interesting baby, allergic to many things, like milk, kiwi, nuts, dairy, most things, really. I daily had anaphylactic treatment in my load of stuff as a breakout could occur at any point in time. Of course my parents didn’t acquire this information ’till I was about 3-4 years old.

When I was about 3 I went to St. Stephen’s C.O.E Primary, Deptford. I was there for around 8 years of my life, from day 1, I met my friend who now lives 2 minutes from my house and we hang out pretty much every day. But I was a very successful mathematician as a kid, most teachers found out how annoying a child could be when they made a mistake. Unluckily, Maths was one of my only loved and successful subjects as an infant. But that didn’t stop me from being a passionate English-loving child. I ended up, in year 6, with a 6c in English, and a 6a in maths. The other subjects were scattered around in the fives.

As a child I spent a lot of my time playing football, but never had a team until early year 7. Football was my main hobby that I was very passionate about back as a child, I still play now, but I am not as in-love with football as I was. Any spare time I had, I would spend on League Of Legend, World Of Warcraft, or Counter Strike: Source. Those are all computer games which were big franchises back then. I was a bit of a gamer, but now, my Steam account is worth more than my bank, which I believe, is getting quite serious.

Now, I plan to be a successful, highly known, mathematician, which I feel is quite likely, as I have a well above average level of an 8a in year 7. I’m not quite sure how I will even begin to accomplish this, but there is and will always be a way for me to accomplish my dreams! I do plan to go to college and study, get a degree, and then settle with a nice job, slowly climbing the wall of fame, but that is to come, and I will never know exactly what to expect in the future.
